Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026 (optional property address added)

LandlordLog is a new app in early testing. This policy is written in plain words. It is a draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

Who we are

LandlordLog is a record-keeping tool for small landlords. It is run from Ontario, Canada. For privacy questions or requests, email landlordlog@soloaisle.com

What we collect

We do not collect your bank logins, card numbers (Stripe handles those if you pay) or Social Insurance / Social Security numbers. Please do not type them into notes.

How we use it

Only to run the app for you: sign you in, save your entries and show your totals. We do not sell your information. We do not show ads. We do not share your entries with other users.

Who else handles it

Each account can only see its own entries. If you share a receipt or summary with a tenant or accountant, that is your choice and it leaves the app.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your account and everything in it. Email us at landlordlog@soloaisle.com and we will do it. Please also keep your own copy of important records. This app is not a replacement for the records the tax authority may ask you to keep.

Keeping it safe

Connections are encrypted. No system is perfect, so please use a strong password. If we learn of a problem that affects your information, we will tell you.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes too.
